About Giving Tree Acres

Giving Tree Acres Community Farm is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit regenerative farm working to ensure families across North Texas have access to fresh, nourishing food. Founded in 2024, our farm produces pasture-raised proteins, eggs, and seasonal produce using regenerative farming practices that prioritize soil health, animal welfare, and environmental stewardship. Our livestock are raised without added hormones or antibiotics, and we select high-quality feeds to support animal health and the nutritional quality of the food we produce.

Unlike most farms, Giving Tree Acres operates with a mission-first model. The vast majority of the food we produce is donated to nonprofit partners serving families experiencing food insecurity across Dallas. Through these partnerships, fresh, nutrient-dense food—often the hardest for families to access—reaches communities where it can make the greatest impact.

A small portion of our farm products is sold locally to help fund farm operations and support our food donation program. This model allows us to sustainably grow healthy food, strengthen local agriculture, and expand access to the kinds of foods people need to thrive.
